COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW
GoodTimesDrinks and the Autism Support Network are immensely proud to announce a Community Partnership to help raise funds for expanding critical one-to-one support and education services for parents and caregivers.
Our company is connected to the autism community through Craig Rudder, one of the founders who is an ABA Support Worker in the Surrey School District and has 14 years of experience working with children and youth.
Recognizing the important and empowering work the ASN does with parents and caregivers, GoodTimesDrinks has committed to donating a portion of our sales to help the ASN expand their one-to-one services, for which demand has increased over the past year.
For the month of JULY, GoodTimesDrinks will donate $0.25 from every sale of OUR CUCUMBER BASIL MINT G&T six-pack to the Autism Support Network.
The ASN relies on local businesses to help make a lasting impact in the community. It is only through a community of support that every individual with autism will have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
PARENTS HELPING PARENTS
Founded in 2007, the Autism Support Network Society (ASN) is a trusted information network for families in British Columbia. The Autism Support Network is an organization of families and professionals educating and supporting families about Applied Behavior Analysis and its application as a treatment for individuals with autism. The Autism Support Network seeks to strengthen our community across British Columbia by building local networks so that families can connect with other families in their own neighbourhoods.
ASN services are free and include:
Parent support and education meetings
Individual support
Educational web series and other digital resources
During the past year, the ASN has experienced an increase in the need for individual support as families navigate their world in a global pandemic. Funds donated from GoodTimesDrinks will go towards increasing these services to help us meet this community's needs.
